Aschaffenburg is a town full of history - lively, modern, tranquil
and rich in tradition. Take the banks of the Main river, greens
and bridges, viewpoints and promenades: Aschaffenburg is a river
town and has much to offer. King Ludwig I. of Bavaria chose the
town as a residence, as had the electors and archbishops of Mainz
before him. A choice that speaks for itself.
