The equal opportunity office shall ensure the compliance with the constitutional principle of equal treatment of women and men on a municipal level. It aims at the avoidance of any infringement of the European Directives regarding gender justice. By means of its activities, the equal opportunity office tries to speed up the reduction of disadvantages and discrimination of women and men and of girls and boys resp. within the municipal administration and the sovereign territory of the city of Aschaffenburg.
